This ministry is dedicated to bringing together Catholic gentlemen to serve our parish and the Austin community with charitable good works and prayer.  The Knights of Columbus is the largest lay organization in the Catholic Church.  The Order has been called “the strong right arm of the Church”, and has been praised by popes, presidents and other world leaders, for support of the Church, programs of evangelization and Catholic education, civic involvement and aid to those in need.

Training:  None required.

Time Commitment:  Varied and based on your willingness to participate in a variety of volunteer activities.  A typical year of activities includes pecan sales, taco breakfasts, tootsie roll drives, hosting Austin chapter meeting, sponsorship of youth free-throw contest, and other parish good works projects.  Regular business meetings for members are on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:30pm in Conference Room #2.  Socials on or near the 4th Thursday of the month are for families and open to visitors and guests.
