STCS Group Calendar of Activities

St. Theresa Catholic Singles is comprised of Catholic adults who gather in a comfortable environment to meet other Catholics and become more involved in the St. Theresa community.

We welcome a wide variety of members from various stages of life. You can come to as many or as few of our events as meets your schedule and preferences. We’re open to new types of activities, so if you have something you want to do as a group, you can probably do it..

Our group sponsors a wide range of Spiritual, Service, Social and Recreational activities. Typically, we average 10-12 events per month.

We distribute a monthly schedule with details and contact information for all of our events.

Events include:

Happy Hours and Dinners – at places around Austin

Volleyball and Softball – we play in the city Catholic sports league

Retreats - we promote diocesan-sponsored retreats (eg. ARISE) as well as “day retreats”.

Dinners for Eight – groups of 6-8 meet at various members’ houses for dinner. The dinners are followed by an after-party where all come together for dessert. This is a wonderful way to meet members of the group.

Summer Membership Party – a picnic usually held on the lake.

Movies, spectator sports, games nights

Mobile Loaves and Fishes, Meals on Wheels, and other service projects

Christmas Party – a festive holiday gala, usually coupled with a charitable cause.

Hiking – trips to Enchanted Rock, Bastrop State Park, Hamilton Pool, and more.
