CHRISTMAS OUTREACH FOR BATROP FAMILIES
Our parish responded with overwhelming generosity and spirit to support the five families who lost everything in the wildfires in Bastrop!  Every request for these families was fulfilled and more.  We were able to provide every gift, large and small to these families.  On Sunday, December 18^th, all gifts were delivered to these families and many volunteers came out to help sort and box the gifts and load the large truck.  We filled a 26 foot U-Haul truck that volunteers from the Knights of Columbus drove for us and many people followed to help in the delivery.  In addition, the Ascension Parish in Bastrop sent a large truck to Austin on Friday, December 16^th to pick up large donation items for other families affected by the fire.  The families were so touched and grateful for this outpouring of Christian love and spirit.  Thanks to everyone who supported and helped in this effort!
